What to style with a plain denim skirt?

There can’t be any closet without a denim skirt. It is classy, basic, and can come in very handy especially when you gotta rush to someplace. The question that now arises is WHAT can we wear with it. Since you are already in a rush you can’t afford to waste much time mixing-matching tops with your skirt. So here I will be showing you different ways in which you can style your denim skirt.

1)BASIC TEE

A basic tee is something that can never go wrong with anything. It can be worn with shorts, jeans, skirts without putting in much effort. Just grab one of your t-shirt and pair it with your denim skirt. You can add some jewelry, a headband, a trendy bag with a white pair of shoes and you’re good to go.

2)OFF SHOULDER TOPS

If you wish to go a little trendy, this might be good for you. Off-shoulder tops with denim skirt can add in a touch of trendiness. Try adding a choker or big hoops for an even more stylish look.

3)HOODIES/SWEATSHIRTS

Hoodies/sweatshirts paired with denim skirt is literally the comfiest trendy thing ever. When it’s a little chilly outside a hoodie seems a cozy option. Put on a pair of sneakers with this outfit and you have your sporty-comfy-trendy fit ready.

4)SHIRTS

Do you know what never goes out of style? A shirt. Be it plaided, plain white, or even printed a denim skirt is always it’s good friend. Shirts give out a casual chic vibe. You can also try experimenting by tying it, folding it, tucking it in, and lots more.

5)TUBE or TANK TOP

This is the PERFECT fit for the summer season. A tank or tube top will look effortlessly gorgeous with a denim skirt. When you want to get a lil photogenic for Instagram just put on a denim jacket and add a pair of funky glares.

So, there must have been a point in time where you felt the need to earn and have your OWN damn income. Well, I’m a teenager myself and here I’ll mention some of the jobs that teens CAN do and start earning without much knowledge.

P.s I’m already doing some of them so consider me your honest guiding friend.

1)Blogger

I assure you that blogging is one of the easiest job a student can do. All you need is a laptop(a phone works too) and a little hold of English. It is not really necessary to add extravagant words from the dictionary to sound more authentic. Start blogging at a site and most probably a company will hire you in some time. If not, a blogger is capable enough of working and earning by itself.

INCOME-$100 and $10,000 per month. So, in India, you will earn around 6-7,000 per month.

2)Podcaster

Another job that does not require much knowledge and is quite easy is Podcasting. While blogging is directly connected to the writing ability of individual podcasting is associated with speaking skills. So if you have a enthusiastic and direct voice you will have a very good chance at this. Anchor is a site that can help you get started and even publish your podcast on Spotify or Youtube.

3)Proofreading

This might be a new term for many of you all. Proofreading means checking for errors. That’s it. So when big companies have documents of major importance, they usually hire a proofreader to check and correct all the errors (grammatical, spelling, general, etc)If you are confident enough about your grammar start working with a local company and then gradually move on ahead.

INCOME-$15-20 per hour. Indian Rupees-1,000-1,500 per hour.

4)Data typing

Now, this might be a brilliant job for all the computer geeks out there.No, this is not the ultimate java or programming stuff. This is just TYPING. Companies give you their data and you type it up in excel or spreadsheet.

5)Digital marketer

Digital marketing is yet another easy job that has no age limit. You see the various apps on the photo up there?? That’s all you gotta play with. Survey shows that the age group most active on social media is teenagers. So why not put that to use? Digital Marketing means Promoting companies on Social Media. So you post 2-3 times, make use of good #hashtags, try to boost up engagement and that’s pretty much it.

INCOME-$58,500 per year or $30 per hour. Indians can earn upto Rupees 8.0 Lacs.

There has been a quiet silence since the day TikTok got banned. All the creators and influencers who relied on Tiktok for income as well as fame are left flabbergasted.But no worries we got ya back.Check out the list of 4 apps that work just like TikTok.

1.Instagram Reels

Instagram has always been a tough competitor of Tiktok. It did not even take a week for Instagram to launch their own new feature while everybody else was grieving for the loss of Tiktok. The new update popularly known as ‘Reels’ is a way identical to Tiktok. This feature allows you to make 15 seconds short video with your choice of music and filters. Guess we switchin’ to Gram huh?

2.Roposo

Roposo is basically a second version of Tiktok. It has features similar to that of Tiktok. It is a user-friendly base and allows you to share short videos of your choice with access to various filters, effects, and music it provides.

3.Triller

Ever since the ban of Tiktok, Triller has been rising a lot lately.Sporting more than 23 million downloads, it is an AI-powered music video app that allows users to take professional quality videos in a matter of seconds.

4.Dubsmash

This popular app has been endangered for years. It had risen before Tiktok and rose again after Tiktok got banned. It was a popular lip-syncing app before the birth of Tiktok. As people don’t have Tiktok anymore, they are switching to dubsmash and drastically improving its rating on the app store.

What to do this quarantine?

Really bored during this quarantine?? Like REALLY bored. Take a break from scrolling through Instagram feed and TikTok’s foryoupage and spend this time productively instead.

1.HONE YOUR SKILLS/PASSIONS

This time is the best and your once-in-a-lifetime chance to work on your skills. Be it photography,taekwondo,dancing, cooking, writing or even language. There are many online platforms that are supporting right now by offering various free programs. You could even attend a webinar or install an app for further needs. Just make sure that you LEARN or IMPROVE yourself this Quarantine.After all we are aatm-nirbhar now eh?

2.WORK ON THAT BODY OF YOURS

Those tiring old days are missed but not felt. The endless runs to catch the train, the fatigue from day’s grind and the efforts that were gone in climbing those stairs whenever electricity was out. We don’t experience these nowadays; rather we are idly relaxing on a couch with tv remote in one hand and bag of chips in the other. Get up you lazy ‘COUCH POTATO’ and give your body what it needs. There are variety of workout programs available on Youtube. Moreover, you can easily find half an hour duration workout so you can get over with it real quick. Come out of quarantine ‘Sexy’ and ‘Confident’.

3.INCULCATE NEW HABITS

Did you know that it takes around 21 days to form or leave a habit(and we all can agree on the fact that Modi ji isn’t gonna leave us any time soon).So develop new habits or get rid of your old ones. Just 21 days and you can be a whole different person- well groomed .

4.START YOUR CAREER

If you think you can do it, you CAN do it.You know as they say, “age is just a number” and I couldn’t agree anymore. Age does not matter. If you have your eyes fixed on a target, ACHIEVE it! Start your own business, invent something new, learn digital concepts , coding or prepare you body if your career is in sports. Just don’t kill this time as your career adult time minus your quarantine time results in wastage of atleast 1 year(which is a lot if you think about it).

5.ABOVE ALL SPEND TIME WITH YOUE FAMILY.

This is your sole chance to know and understand your family members better. You are finally free from city’s hustle bustle and the never ending work days. Use this golden opportunity as you might not get it again. Watch movies together, sing karaoke, play carrom or go through your old albums and see how cute you were back then (don’t be all self absorbed now, look at how dashing your parents were too).

Fall from Grace is a 2020 American thriller film produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry. The film follows a woman who finds a dangerous new love. This marks the first Tyler Perry film to be released by Netflix

How to become a good person in 2020

Here are few things that don’t charge you anything and can be done to have a better lifestyle and a healthy soul.

1.WAKE UP EARLY

Waking up early in the mornings can prove beneficial both for your body and your mind. One can also get extra time by waking up early which can be used in some productive work or simply meditating. You feel more energetic than usual days and as a result will be able to do work more effectively and smoothly.

2.READ BOOKS

Invest your free time in reading books rather than watching television or scrolling through your Instagram feed. There is a wide variety of genres like fantasy, fiction, romance, drama, horror, humourous, etc., that you can choose from. Reading books can help you learn new idioms and phrases and also cultivate a habit of reading among you that can later help you in future.

3.WORK OUT

Working out doesn’t mean going to the gym for the sole purpose of taking some selfies. It means actually sweating and burning the extra fat. Do you know that the average lifespan of a human being is expected to be around 80 years. How can someone even waste a minute? We are not here for a very long time (exceptions:Vampires) and should keep doing things of your liking. Caring what others will think will just kill all your excitement and charm to live life. Stop judging and stop accepting others judgement. BE YOURSELF. STAY FRENZY.

How to deal with boredom?

Bored almost every time and have nothing to do??Well this is the right place to give you some zesty ideas to handle boredom.

1.TRY A HOBBY

Well,if you get bored frequently and don’t have much on your plate,you could always go for a hobby.Just pick any hobby like cooking,football, drawing,chess,dancing,etc.,that you like.This will keep you engaged in activities.

2.THROW A PARTY

(Disclaimer:This is not to be done often if u have strict parents).If you’re really really bored you could call some of your buddies and throw them a party.You could order food,dance,sing and do various other interesting things.

3.SLEEP

I do this most of the time.Whenever I get bored or have nothing to do, I just SLEEP.It is actually gun cause you don’t do anything and you don’t get bored either.

4.PLAY GAMES

Install some good games on your phone or computer.Different types of games like action,trivia,haunted can help you relax as well as a method to prevent boredom.Just be careful that you don’t spend too much time playing games and strain your eyes.

5.TRY DOING LIFE HACKS

Remember the last time you saw a video of Bright Side doing a like hack that you really liked.Well,try doing that.You could try doing life hacks with your daily objects and create something interesting out of it.

6.MIX N MATCH

Try mixing and matching your clothes.Take different clothes and try them on together to see which one forms a perfect outfit.You could always watch videos on YouTube for reference.This will also save your time on important occasion wherein you have a proper set of clothes to wear on the go.

7.GROOVE TO THE BEAT

You can listen to songs and dance and make a party for yourself.Listen to your favorite songs and dance to it.Change the atmosphere by dimming the lights or turning on the disco light for a dramatic effect.

8.MAKE SOME VIDEOS

Try making some videos on YouTube or TikTok.This will consume your time as you keep on taking retakes.You can make videos of dancing, singing, showing your talent, lipsync,room tour videos and some funky challenges.

9.WATCH NETFLIX

Netflix is literally the perfect partner to accompany you when you’re alone.You can watch some good movies or start with series like Riverdale, Stranger things,The vampire diaries, Thirteen reasons why,Friends nd other preferred shows of your choice.Just grab a bowl of popcorn and a glass of soda before starting.

10.DO YOGA

When you’re extremely bored and have tried everything,you can rely upon yoga to help you.Meditate or do yoga for some time.Take deep breaths and remove all the thoughts.This will help your body feel relaxed and you would’ve spent 20-30 mins straight away without even realizing.

Really really messed up room can have adverse effect on the body and mind.You need to start organizing your room for positive vibes and to find anything in an instant.These methods will not only help you to clean your room up but also how to spread good vibes all over.

1.WASH IT

Just as you wash your body to clean it,you need to wash your room to clean it too.Mopping,dusting, sweeping are effective enough to get rid of the dirt and dust off your floor.You can also go for vaccum cleaning if preferred.

2.ORGANIZE

Organize your room and your workspace.Keep the things in their proper places.Neatly fold and stack your clothes up in your cupboard.Place the books in their shelves and according to their genre.Organize your desk and keep the pens and pencils in the penstand.Keep your cosmetics and accessories in a pouch inside a drawer.Just try cleaning everything and dusting all your things atleast once a month.

3.STICK QUOTES

You could stick good and motivational quotes, messages and tips on collage,frame and even the walls of your room.In this way you will be encouraged and always positive about everything
